A New Beginning: Recovery |

I have good
news. I have found some really great information that will be helpful
to so many of us. I have FINALLY found a great resource and I
am going to be starting a "WOMEN'S SEXUAL INTEGRITY 12 STEP PROGRAM" it
could be called a "For Women Only Group".
Praise God! Please Call (503)799-0673 or email me for more information
on this Wonderful Program (PLEASE don't be afraid to leave a message).
I would like to say a few things about the women like my self that have been dealing with there sexual addiction. Addiction comes in many forms; fantasy, affairs, sexaul anorexia, and pornography, these are some typical forms. All sexaul addictions come with the shame factor, but that is not enough to keep us from slipping and falling back in to old behaviors. I see sex addiction as parallel to an eating disorder, it carries with it the same 5 senses (touch, visual, audio, smell and taste) as food. I have never heard of it described that way, but feel that we need to start opening our eyes and look at what we are dealing with. I didn't intend for things to be graphic; I want you to be aware of why we feel so over come by both food and sexual addiction. Our society would like to put a new spin on women that have a sexual addiction. Publicly we have become too desensitized to the graphic sexual content in the media today. Some people would have us believe that we as women are evolving, we are just now catching up with the men and we to have the right to be as sexual as they are. If I could shed some light on those statements I would say that being sexual is not a bad thing in the right context (if you have a healthy out look). There is a time and a place; that doesn't mean that we should be liberal with who we are sexually or put ourselves on display and then wonder why men objectify us. I believe a woman can be as beautiful in a turtle neck, we don't have to wear revealing clothing. We need to change the image that society has on how we are looked upon and possibly change some of our own views. I see that in our churches some of the young women are starting to get the wrong ideas about how women should dress we need to be strong in our values for our children, we can't compromise because of how society dictate we should look. I would love any feed back about the content of this website, if for some reason you feel uncomfortible with the posting please let me know so that I may consider how the content is coming accross. I don't want to offend in anyway; I do want to be honest but gentle.

This is a Recovery Book that I found online for
free. This book is written basically for men. Look this book over,
there is no reason that you couldn't start your recovery today, by
over looking the that it was written with men in mind. The content
pertains to women's issues as well.
The Author says "This program provides a sixty day immersion in the Word of God. It pulls no punches. The program is not for the faint of heart. You must be serious about obtaining victory over sexual sins. Our program uses the 'one day at a time' principle, implementing daily stories, commentary, and Bible study" Click Here to begin to read. | ||
