Reaching out to Ex-dancers
It has been my desire to have a support group
(Dancers Anonymous, COMING SOON) for women that have come out of dancing
and need to deal with some of the issues that stem from this very hard
life. I lived in the shadows of my dancing career for over 13 years. I
would like to see women come into the light with their stories and help
other women. We all have a past. I don't think that we went through those
hard times in our lives for some simple lesson. I want to see women
healed and the only way that can happen is if we deal with our actions
of the past and give it to God. This is just one of the Subject that I
feel need to be addressed in the effects of women and pornography.
Helping prevent young women from making tragic mistakes
I would like to have a few former dancers join
with me, go into the under 21 Clubs, and befriend some of the young women
that are hurting and looking for something to fill the void. We could
help mentor them and give them some sense of what it would be like down
the road. Let them know what type of issues that they will be dealing
with.
Prevention of Prostitution and dealing with the effects of it
I would like to get a program started that would
help prevent women from entering into the life of prostitution. I would
former prostitutes come forward and join in the making of this program.
There should be some way that we can help to keep women off the streets.
It would be wonderful to see a mentoring program that would help with jobs
housing, education and counseling. I believe with the help of God and
volunteers that we can make a difference. Under this same program the
women of the hard core pornographic films could benefit in the same way.
Many of the Adult Entertainment Industries Business parallelled in various
ways. With special programs in effect we can see many forms of healing take
place. We can see healing in the children and parents that are victims of
this industry. We will see relationships mended between the parents of
the adult child involved in these businesses. We can see that the neighborhoods
will benefits from the closing of some of the Adult entertainment businesses.
Recovery Groups for Women Addicted to Pornography
In my heart I feel the need to get support groups
started for women that are addicted to internet and other pornographic media.
I would like to start some small growth groups for female victims of
pornography. There are so many people that are affected by this awful
disease. This disease is like any other, it doesn't care who it attacks.
I know how addiction can make you feel hopeless and unworthy, but there is hope and we are all unworthy. Christ died to set us free. If you would like to help in anyway with this vision please email me and let me know where you feel you could be of assistance. |
