Here
are some great Resources (books, etc.) that I have found to be very helpful.
I will continue to post other helpful resources on an on going basis.
The book topics will be topics from Women's battles with sexual addictions
as well as books for women that have husbands that have a problem with
sexual addiction. I don't want to limit the types of books that are added
to the site in hope that there will be something for everyone.
No Stones:Women Redeemed from sexual shame
Author: Marnie Ferree bravely addresses the taboo subject of female
sexual addiction with frankness, compassion, and vulnerability. Readers
will be surprised at the definition of this problem and the number of
women who struggle with it. This definitive work combines the best
clinical knowledge with the truth of Biblical principles. No Stones
points the way to redemption. ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Marnie Ferree is a licensed marriage and family therapist with the Woodmont Hills Counseling Center in Nashville, Tennessee. She specializes in sexual recovery, with a specific focus on the treatment of female sexual addiction. She also works with adult sexual abuse survivors and conducts marital therapy around the issues of addiction and abuse. Marnie is also the leader of the Bethesda Workshop Ministry, which provides intensive recovery workshops for sex addicts, their spouses, and families. The treatment program for female sex addicts, established in 1997, was the first of its kind in the country and today draws participants from across the United States and Canada. heart as well. Every woman's battle can help you learn to do that. Using real-life

helps women like you-whether married, engaged, or planning to

Living With Your Husband's SECRET WARS

sexual sin----whether it's lust, pornography, infidelity, or some
other behavior--pain whips through you like a tornado. You
wonder:
Lies Women Believe and the Truth that Sets them Free
Author: Nancy Leigh DeMoss Author Nancy Leigh DeMoss suggests that the lies
Christian women believe are at the root of most of their struggles.
"Many women live under a cloud of personal guilt and condemnation,"
says DeMoss. "Many are in bondage to their past. Others are gripped
by fear of rejection and a longing for approval. Still others are
emotional prisoners." In her book, Lies Women Believe, the author exposes
those areas of deception most commonly believed by Christian women
- lies about God, sin, priorities, marriage and family, emotions
and more. She then sheds light on how we can be delivered from
bondage and set free to walk in God's grace, forgiveness, and
abundant life. Nancy Leigh DeMoss offers the most effective
weapon to counter and overcome Satan's deceptions-God's truth!
Bad Girls of the Bible and what we can learn
from them
Author: Liz Curtis Higgs In Bad Girls of the Bible, Liz offers a clear-
sighted, life-changing approach to understanding those "other women"
in Scripture - Delilah, Jezebel, Rahab, Lot's wife, and others.
She combines a contemporary fictional retelling of their stories
with a solid, verse-by-verse study of their lives and the lessons
we can learn from them. Whether they were Bad to the Bone, Bad for a
Moment, or Bad for a Season, but Not Forever, these infamous sisters
show us how not to handle the challenges of life. With trademark
humor and heartfelt encouragement, Liz teaches us how to avoid their
tragic mistakes and joyfully embrace God's grace. Liz Says, "For ten years I studied bunches of biblical
role models and finally realized what we had in common: Zip "Sarah was so faithful. Esther was so courageous.
Mary was so innocent. I was so none-of-the-above. Girls, it was
downright discouraging. "Then I found Jezebel and something inside me
clicked. I identified with her pushy personality, I understood her
need for control, I empathized with her angry outbursts, and I
began to wonder... "Could those Bad Girls from the past teach us how
to be Good Girls in the present? I'm here to tell you--Yes!
"Grab a veil and dive in!" This Book also has an optional workbook that you can buy separately. Really Bad Girls of the Bible more lessons from
less-than-perfect Women
Author: Liz Curtis Higgs You mean there are more? Really?!? You bet, sisters! Another bevy of brazen women
fill the pages of Really Bad Girls of the Bible: Bad and Proud of It:
Athaliah, the deadly daughter of Jezebel Herodias, the horrible
beheader...
Bad Moon Rising: Bathsheba, the bathing beauty,
The bewitching Medium of Endor...
Bad for a Good Reason: Jael, the tent-peg toting
warrior princess Tamar, the widow and none-too-timid temptress...
Bad, but not Condemned: The ashamed Adulteress,
The desperate Bleeding Woman...
These were the tougher stories, the ones I chose
for the first book, then put aside because they were, frankly, more
challenging -- lives littered with gray areas and hard questions and
moral dilemmas. But God said, "keep writing." Come September, I hope
you'll "keep reading." Your letters and e-mails have encouraged me so
much, sisters. This one's for you!

Author: Rick Warren The Purpose-Driven Life is a blueprint for
Christian living in the 21st century- a lifestyle based on God's
eternal purposes, not cultural values. Using over 1,200 scriptural
quotes and references, it challenges the conventional definitions of
worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry, and evangelism. In the
tradition of Oswald Chambers, Rick Warren offers distilled wisdom
on the essence of what life is all about. Self-help books often suggest that you try to
discover the meaning and purpose of your life by looking within
yourself, but Rick Warren says that is the wrong place to start.
You must begin with God, your Creator, and his reasons for creating
you. You were made by God and for God, and until you understand
that, life will never make sense.
